The HYBRIA study program includes 2 mandatory international mobility periods :

  • The academic mobility in year 3
  • The international internship mobility in year 4

The presentation of our international partners on the website gives you a first idea of the possible academic destinations with links to the websites of the partner universities.

COMPULSORY ACADEMIC MOBILITY IN H3 AT HYBRIA

The mandatory academic mobility of our students in the 3rd year (5th semester) is organized between September and December in cooperation with our partner institutions.

Please note : given the Covid-19 pandemic, the outgoing mobility in year 3 for the academic year 2020/2021 has been postponed to the 6th semester in the period between January and May 2021.

The choice of destinations includes destinations in Europe, normally Erasmus accredited, and destinations outside of Europe such as the United States, Canada or South Korea but also less known but interesting destinations such as Georgia and Bahrain.

The students are integrated in courses held in English offered by our academic partners with 5 student maximum per partner and a limited number of places (2) at some partner institutions. For their semester program, the students are free to choose modules which fit into the 3rd year program at HYBRIA in fields such as marketing, management, international business, economy… but they can also choose more technical modules if the partner university has a science or engineering faculty.

Before starting the courses, the module choice has to be communicated to the international department and validated by HYBRIA.

30 ECTS credits have to be validated through the program abroad. In order to receive the credits associated to each module, our students will have to follow the same exam procedures as the local students.

One partner, Kyungwoon University, top university in South Korea for aviation education, organizes a mobility program for HYBRIA, specialized in business and aeronautics for a group of minimum 10 students.

HYBRIA Institute of Business and Technologies will take in charge any study fees abroad. Students will have to pay for all other costs such as travel, accommodation, food, visa, international insurance and leisure. For the destinations with an ERASMUS accreditation, our students will receive ERASMUS grants. In that case, an ERASMUS learning agreement will be signed between HYBRIA, the host institutions and the students before the mobility takes place.

INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY FOR STUDENTS INTEGRATING HYBRIA IN YEAR 3 (H3+)

HYBRIA integrates students with a first higher education technical diploma directly in the 3rd year through a parallel admission process. These students can’t go on full semester mobility as they will follow intensive classes on basic skills in marketing and company management for 2 months in France.

We organize for the integrated students in the 3rd year a short international mobility program of 2 months in November and December. The program will focus on the acquisition and improvement of (business) English and take place at 2 partner institutions in Ireland : Cork English College (CEC) in Cork in the south-west of Ireland and the International School of Business (ISB) in Dublin. The program is organized in classes specifically organized for the HYBRIA student who can be mixed in some classes with students from other countries. Students will obtain through this short academic mobility a reduced number of 15 ECTS credits.

There is a difference in the program focus between the 2 partner institutions : the program at Cork English College, an excellent language school, is mainly linguistic, adapted to students who have to make progress in English with intensive weeks in small level groups at the beginning of the program.   The program at ISB Dublin includes courses in business English but also courses on business topics in English. The 2 partners offer modules on Irish geopolitics and culture with possible excursions.

HYBRIA Institute of Business and Technologies will take in charge the study fees abroad. Students will have to pay for all other costs such as travel, accommodation, food, visa, international insurance and leisure.
